Hello Linsford families,
We wish everyone a wonderful long weekend! School resumes on Tuesday, May 20. Don't forget your swim gear that day!
Class photos and individual photos for kinder and grade 6 are coming up on May 20 and 21. More details are available on the calendar or further down in our update.
I would like to bring attention to another matter that is becoming a regular challenge at recess time or when students are upset. A number of students are calling each other "Big Backs"; which comes from TikTok. Please have a conversation with your child to encourage kind word choices. Name calling of any type is highly discouraged, however, some students feel that since they see this on the internet or hear it from older siblings, that it is not a big deal to repeat it. Thank you in advance for your support with these important messages!

Staff and students showed their Oilers Spirit in grand fashion on Wednesday! It was a sea of blue and orange on our playground. Goooo Oilers!

Our next fundraiser for the playground is from Wilhauk Beef Jerky. Please click on the link below to get a form.
We are also able to get gift cards if that is your preference, rather than product! The sale starts now and the cut off date for orders is: May 23. Orders will arrive just in time for Father's Day on June 12 or 13. Details for delivery will be confirmed when the order is ready.
