06 21 26 update

Hello Linsford Families,

Congratulations to our PreK and Kinder students who finished their year this past Friday with a beautiful day at the park!

Our Grade 6 students finished their last PAT exams this week and then enjoyed a wonderful year end celebration on Friday.

As we head into our last few days, we need to make a couple of adjustments (or pivot as we like to say) due to the weather. We will move our fun day afternoon to Tuesday, June 23 as the forecast is much more pleasant for an outdoor experience. We received a grant from Jumpstart and the City of Leduc for some fun day equipment as well as some money for a year end BBQ. We were planning to BBQ hotdogs for all students and staff tomorrow (June 22) and we will continue with that plan as there are other food arrangements for some classes on Tuesday. If your child does not like hotdogs, please send a lunch for them.

REMINDER: Swimming/Spray Park permission forms are due on Monday, June 22 at 3:00 pm. If you are able to volunteer, please click on THIS LINK and connect with your childs' teacher. Thank you to all who have already filled out the form and/or volunteered. It is greatly appreciated!

Here's to a wonderful last three days!

Warmest Regards,

Mrs. Kloschinsky & Dr. Murtha-Toles

GRADE 6 FAREWELL

Congratulations to our Grade 6 class on successfully completing their elementary journey! We enjoyed a lovely celebration this past Friday that featured a heartfelt and emotional message from Miss Archie, a student created slideshow, two class historians who delivered a fantastic speech that highlighted some key memories for this group, completion certificates, a book specifically chosen for each student, and a small handful of awards. We shall miss the leadership, volunteerism, and energy of this cohort! From all the staff and students at LPS, we wish you all the BEST in the next chapter of your journey! As mentioned in the closing of the historian speech, “ the best part; we still have six more years of school ahead of us, to make even more memories” … this says a lot about the character and cohesiveness of this group. We look forward to seeing your future success. Congratulations!! You can view the student slideshow below:
