03 22 26 update

Hello Linsford Families,

What a busy week! The flooded and icy field made it extra challenging as we only had a few recesses outside. Here's hoping the warmer weather helps our field dry out a bit more to give everyone a better recess experience. It's been a tricky few weeks as we navigate ice, mud, and water out there!

We were thrilled to have the Leduc Ringette Association come out and teach our students for two days in their PEW (Physical Education and Wellness) classes. What a great experience for many of our students!

The school council and fundraiser groups are hosting the Spring Fling Family Dance this week. We hope to see many of you on March 25 from 5:30 - 7:00 pm! It should be a fun time for all! **Don't forget to bring cash for the concession.

Have a wonderful week!

Warmest Regards,

Mrs. Kloschinsky & Dr. Murtha-Toles

ASSEMBLY - RAKs

The students continued their learning about Random Acts of Kindness and this assembly was part two towards building a Kindness Quilt together. The students worked on finishing their individual pieces for a school-wide kindness quilt. We also gave away some skipping ropes for prizes and the following students were the lucky prize winners!

RINGETTE IN PEW CLASS

We would like to send a HUGE shout out of THANKS to the Leduc Ringette Association and their instructor Laurette who introduced all grade 1-6 students to the game of Ringette. Our students enjoyed learning about the sport over the span of 2 PEW (physical education wellness) classes.

GRADE 5/6 GIRLS FLOOR HOCKEY

Our third floor hockey team played in their tournament this past weekend. The Gr. 5/6 girls floor hockey team played with incredible heart n' hustle and were great on defence! Their goalies stopped dozens of goals and everyone truly persevered, however, the score just wouldn't move in their favour. The coaching team of Mrs. K, Mr. McDonald, and Logan were truly proud of these girls and their outstanding effort. Thank you to all of the parents for driving out to RMS for the games and being such wonderful cheerleaders!
