03 15 26 update

Hello Linsford Families,

Thank you to all family members who came out to support our book fair and attend our student led conferences. It was wonderful for so many of our students to have the opportunity to share their learning with loved ones.

With just two weeks left before spring break and warmer weather around the corner, we are hopeful that our playground and field will be more suitable for safe play. Recent weather has made it challenging for us to go outside as students are determined to run and play and have fun, however, the amount of ice in the field resulted in lots of falls and some injuries. That resulted in us having a few indoor days to keep everyone safe. We are hopeful to get back to some regular outside time this week. There is bound to be lots of moisture and water with the upcoming forecast, so please ensure your child(ren) are dressed for the weather. It is not a bad idea to send waterproof pants and some extra socks!

Don't forget to save the date for our Spring Fling Family Dance on March 25! It should be a fun time for all!

Our school council and fundraiser meetings are tomorrow (March 16) at 6:00 pm in the music room. All parents/caregivers are always invited to attend.

Have a wonderful week!

Warmest Regards,

Mrs. Kloschinsky & Dr. Murtha-Toles

GRADE 3/4 BOYS FLOOR HOCKEY

We would like to send a HUGE SHOUT OUT to our Gr. 3/4 boys floor hockey team. They played with a lot of heart and hustle in their tournament at Caledonia School this past weekend losing two of their games by only one goal. Thank you to all the parents and fans that came out to cheer the boys on! We would like to send a special THANK YOU to Miss Archie, Miss Opdendries, and Logan Danilak for coaching the team and for giving our students the gift of your time.
