Hello Linsford Families,
On Wednesday, May 6 we are encouraging all students and staff to wear a hat for "Hats on for Mental Health" day. We always looking forward to seeing all of the fun and creative hats that our students wear in honour of this important day.
If you purchased gift cards from the greenhouse fundraiser, you will be able to pick them up at the school on Friday, May 8.
Don't forget to pre-order your 2025-26 yearbook! You can order them on PowerSchool. These full color glossy books are a deal at only $20 each!
We are excited to welcome a couple of new staff members for the remainder of the year! Mrs. Iwanyshyn is covering Mrs. Giesbrecht's mat leave in Grade 2 and Miss McGowan is a teacher who is helping to support additional small group instruction in a few different learning settings and grades.

ASSEMBLY UPDATE
We are continuing to focus on kindness and for this week's assembly we learned about "tasting our words" with a really fun story! Our country groups also enjoyed a team building exercise. Congratulations to this week's draw prize winners.
RECESS FUN!
Our students were really enjoying the warm weather in the later part of the week.
SCHOOL COUNCIL / PARENT FUNDRAISING (LPSPA) UPDATE
As noted in our earlier message, we are super excited that we were successful with our CFEP grant application for our new playground. We will be planning our next steps and will work with Black Gold to establish a timeline. Stay tuned for further updates!
