Hello Linsford families,
What a wonderful year it has been at LPS! We thank you for all of your engagement and support with your child's education. For our grade 6s who are headed to another school and embarking on their next chapter in their educational journey, we wish them all the BEST. They were a wonderful group of students who embraced a leadership role in our school and they will certainly be missed.
For all returning families: We will be hosting a welcome back event on Wednesday, August 26 from 4:30 -6:00 pm. Please come in to drop off school supplies, see the classroom, and meet your teacher! We look forward to seeing everyone after the break and hearing all about the student's summer adventures!
Our office will reopen on Wednesday, August 20 at 8:30 am if you require the assistance of our office staff prior to school starting. Our Summer and September information can be found HERE or at the links found in the dates to note section of this update.
We would like to wish all of our students, families, and our staff a very restful and relaxing summer! See you in the fall!

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL
Students and staff enjoyed BBQ'd hot dogs. THANK YOU Mr. Emil for volunteering to cook for us. They were delicious! Students also enjoyed some fun at the spray park. It was a great last day!
FUN DAY
Students and staff bundled up to enjoy a great FUN DAY on Monday. THANKS A MILLION to our parent volunteers who came out to cut up and hand out water melon. EXTRA SPECIAL THANKS to Mishel and her daughter from Painted Parrot. They donated their time and supplies to join one of our talented EAs, Mrs. Murch, to so some awesome face painting for our students. Despite the chilly day, fun was had by all. VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION
We truly appreciate our volunteers. Staff and Students were excited to host a drive-thru for our wonderful LPS volunteers. Everyone was then invited into the gym to hear a beautiful song from our students. You can CLICK ON THIS LINK or THIS LINK to view the video.
BGSD TRACK MEET
Congratulations to all of our students on a job well done and extra special CONGRATS to our grade 3/4 boys 50 m team who placed 4th in their event.
