Hello Linsford families,
We celebrated 100 days of school this week at LPS and there were lots of fun learning activities in a number of the younger classrooms.
As you are all aware by now, CUPE job action will be in place effective tomorrow morning (Feb. 24). There is a tab on both the Black Gold and LPS websites called Labour Action Updatesand this is where you will be able to find the most current and up-to-date information. We VALUE and APPRECIATE all of our support staff and they will be greatly missed during this time.
All families were emailed with an update on Friday, February 21. Please check your email for the LPS contingency plan.
REMINDER: Students in Gr. 1-6 need to enter through the front door in the morning.
Adjusted office hours until further notice: 8:15 am - 3:15 pm.

Students in our primary grades enjoyed some fun 100th day of school learning activities.
ASSEMBLY PRIZE WINNERS
The pictures below are the prize winners from Friday's assembly. This month we are doing a kindness challenge where students can be "caught being kind". When a staff member sees them doing a kind act, they get to sign the kindness chart in the hallway. After 100 kind acts, many names will be drawn for prizes.
FLOOR HOCKEY UPDATE
Our floor hockey teams are all excited to play in the upcoming Black Gold tournaments. Two of our teams have begun practices. There are practices at lunch and after school. The after school practices along with the tournament dates are in the schedule below for your convenience. Thank you to Mrs. Culp, Ms. Archie, and Mr. McDonald for coaching!

Hot Lunch orders are ready for February and you can order any time.
