It looks like the forecast for most of the week is going to be quite cold. Please ensure your child comes with toque, mitts, ski pants, and boots. We will try to go outside a few times when the windchill or temperatures are not too cold.
REMINDER: Both the food bank and Santa's Helpers deadline is this week. Thank you in advance to everyone for their generosity!
Don't forget to buy your 50/50 tickets or your WEM waterpark tickets. Proceeds go to our playground.

GRADE 4 SCIENCE - BIRDHOUSE FEEDERS
Grade 4s were busy building birdhouses this past week. You will be able to see their creations hanging around the school yard in the upcoming days.

FOOD BANK CHALLENGE
Our students are having a food bank collection challenge. It all begins tomorrow (Dec. 1). Students have until Dec. 10 to make a donation. Students in grades 4-6 have buddy grades to collect their donations from. Each of the gr. 4-6 classes will then arrange their donations in a creative display before handing them off to the food bank. Grade 6 students were practicing their digital poster skills and a number of these will be featured throughout the campaign. The following poster was made by Emmett.

**Donation deadline is December 8th . . . please drop off any donations in the box outside of the office.
SCHOOL SPIRIT WEAR
We are excited to launch our school spirit wear store with the Lil Buckaroo Design company from New Sarepta. The store will be live by November 3. Please create an account to order online.

Volunteers Needed — Secretary Positions
Both School Council and the Parents' Fundraising Association are currently seeking a Secretary for the upcoming year. This is an important role that helps keep our parent groups running smoothly. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to contribute, take notes during meetings, and help ensure communication stays clear and organized.
If you or someone you know might be interested, please reach out. And remember—anyone can join our School Council or Parents' Association.
