03 08 26 update

Hello Linsford Families,

Don't forget to move your clocks ahead one hour for the time change! Also, there is no school tomorrow as it is a PD day.

We look forward to seeing everyone at our student led conferences this week on March 11! The students are excited to highlight some things they have been learning with their families. You can also support our Book Fair on this evening.

Have a wonderful week!

Warmest Regards,

Mrs. Kloschinsky & Dr. Murtha-Toles

ASSEMBLY - THE WRINKLED HEART

Last Week we started to tackling name calling as part of our KIndness theme. Here is one video that we watched for ideas on what to do if we are on the receiving end of name calling.

This week we continued our wrinkled heart lesson. We learned what happens to our heart when there is name calling and then how to make repairs if we have hurt someone's heart.

Congratulations to our draw winners from this week's assembly!

GRADE 2/3 LITERACY GROUPS

Our grade 2/3 students meet in smaller groups once a day, four times a week to support additional emphasis on building foundational literacy skills. It is really exciting to watch the growth and progress that is happening in this smaller learning setting.

We would like to send a special THANK YOU to Miss Archie, Miss Opdendries, and Logan Danilak for coaching the team and for sharing your time to make it happen!
