Hello Linsford Families,
Thank you to all parents who brought lunch/treats for us this past week for staff appreciation day. It was enjoyed by all and we are grateful for your kindness.
We will be having class photos this week. As well, our kinder and our grade 6 students will do special individual spring photos. The grade 6 students will all bring a special item for their photos (eg. someone who loves soccer may wear a jersey or bring a ball; cowboy hat; ballet slippers, special book etc)
The Wilhauk Beef Jerky fundraiser is kicking off today and orders are due on June 1. Delivery will be here just before Father's Day weekend.

Author Visit
LPS students and staff were treated to a visit with author Sigmund Brouwer this past Friday. The students were learning how to be reading/writing ninjas and seemed to thoroughly enjoy the presentation.
Kindness Wall
Wow! We have filled one whole bulletin board with hundreds of acts of Kindness that have been recognized. Keep working hard on being kind LPS as you paint the world with one Kind act at a time!
BGSD Preschool Programs
Black Gold School Division is accepting registrations for Preschool in 2026-27.

Playground update:
We are currently working with Black Gold and their procurement specialist to choose a vendor to supply and build our playground. If all goes well, we are still hopeful for a fall build.
NEXT MEETING: June 2 @ 6:00 pm
School Council AGM meeting will be first followed by the LPSPA Fundraiser meeting. Please consider joining us and having a voice in our school.
