Happy New Year to our Linsford families and community!

We had a very busy first week back after the break. Students and staff quickly got into a new routine and it was great to have lots of time to play outside. Some students are still forgetting some of their winter gear at home. We try to go out as long as it is not colder than -20, so please encourage your child(ren) to bring appropriate outerwear.

The PowerSchool portal will be shutdown until the end of the month while staff work on entering grades and report card comments. Families will still have access to permission forms and to pay fees. An email was sent home a couple days ago. If you are not receiving emails, please check your spam and call the office staff for help, as there is a setting that some families may have activated accidentally to block school emails.

We are excited to continue the Beach Day tradition this year. Students and staff are invited to dress like we are in the tropics on Friday, January 24. Each class in grades K-6 will also have a one hour swim time at the LRC. Permission forms will be available by the end of the day on Monday, January 13. We will be looking for several parent volunteers, so please consider joining us. See the Beach Day section below for more information.

Have a wonderful week!

BASKETBALL TEAM UPDATE

Thank you Mishel for taking so many great pictures of the team at their game last week at Leduc Estates School and sharing them with us. The boys continue to grow and learn and improve! They made some exciting rebounds on defense and there were some great offensive plays that resulted in some points for us too. Thank you to all of our parents and fans who came out to watch us play!
