AWARDS & RECOGNITION
Students in grades four to six who achieve an average of 85% in the four core subjects (mathematics, language arts, science, and social studies) for the whole year are put on the Honour Roll. They each receive a medal and their names are engraved on a plaque.
Students who have displayed good citizenship throughout the year are recognized for their accomplishments. This award is open to all students in grades one to six. They receive a medal at the end of the year.
MOST IMPROVED IN ACADEMICS OR CITIZENSHIP
Students who have displayed a marked improvement in either academics and/or citizenship through the year are recognized for this accomplishment with a medal at the end of the year.
ATHLETES OF THE YEAR
A male and female student are chosen for their accomplishments in athletics during the year. These athletes are chosen not only for their physical abilities but also for displaying good sportmanship. They each receive a medal and their names are engraved on a plaque.
Students who exhibit leadership qualities are chosen by their teachers and their names are engraved on a plaque.
The Awards Ceremony is held during the final week of school in June. Parents of all awards recipients are invited to attend.
